As a Clerk at Bandhan Bank, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the efficient functioning of the bank's operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, assisting customers with inquiries, and performing various clerical tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in banking operations and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and providing accurate information about bank products and services. Respond to customer complaints or concerns, escalate complex issues to the appropriate department, and ensure prompt resolution. Maintain a positive and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update customer records, account information, and transactions accurately and securely. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data by verifying and cross-checking information. Prepare and process necessary documentation, including account opening forms, loan applications, and other relevant paperwork. Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval and reference.
- Clerical Support: Perform a variety of clerical tasks, such as managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, photocopying documents, filing paperwork, and scheduling appointments. Prepare reports, memos, and other documents as assigned. Assist with basic accounting tasks, including cash handling, deposits, and reconciliations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely and actively listen to customer needs. Strong command of the English language is essential. Proficiency in regional languages can be an advantage.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and handle paperwork efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Customer Service Orientation: A customer-centric approach with a genuine desire to assist customers and provide exceptional service.
